About
The name nooon is inspired by the moment the sun reaches its zenith at midday, symbolizing the peak of daylight and the delicate balance between light and shadow.
It reflects our fascination with the dynamics of light, tipping points, and symmetry, and at the same time forms the basis for the design of spaces that are in harmony with the natural environment and their context.
Approach
The interplay of light, materiality, and space forms the foundation of our work. We approach each project with a deep understanding of how light behaves and how it continuously shapes shifting atmospheres.
Our designs are inspired by natural light phenomena and follow the rhythms of nature. We carefully consider both functionality and the needs of the people who use the space. In doing so, we create environments that are in harmony with their surroundings and reflect the dynamic relationship between architecture, nature, and humanity.

Meta Romanens
"Lighting is not just a source of illumination, but a key element that shapes the atmosphere of a space. In architecture, light is both a sculptor and a storyteller, revealing the true essence of a room and connecting us to the natural world."
